Privacy Policy

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages get visited, and nothing else. We do not run advertising trackers, build profiles of you, or sell or share your data. The only personal information we ever hold is what you choose to send us directly, for example by emailing us.

Server logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information for each request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security, abuse prevention, and to keep the site running. We do not link this to your identity.

Information you give us. If you contact us (for example, to request verification, report an error, or ask about advertising), we receive whatever you include in that message: typically your name, email address, and the contents of your enquiry.

• To respond to your enquiries and verification requests.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the website.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the site. They may process technical data (such as your IP address) on our behalf:

• Hosting and content delivery: the infrastructure that serves the site and its images to you.
• Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which may receive your IP address.
• Google Analytics: measures how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. In regions where the law requires opt-in consent (the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland), it stays off until you allow it in the banner shown on your first visit, and declining changes nothing about how the site works. Elsewhere it runs by default. Either way it is used only for aggregate usage statistics; we never see who you are. To change a banner choice later, clear this site's data in your browser and it will ask again.

Our site also links out to third-party websites (restaurants, hotels, booking pages, social media, maps). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.

We keep emails and enquiries only for as long as needed to deal with your request and to keep reasonable business records. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period under their standard practices.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any personal information you've sent us. Just email us and we'll do our best to help.

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
