h78 Iru is the newest of the three h78 sister hotels in Hulhumalé, next door to h78 Veli on the island's east side, one street in from the public beach.
GETTING THERE
Airport transfers are arranged on request. The ride from Velana International Airport (MLE) takes about 15 to 30 minutes depending on traffic.
THE ROOMS
Its 24 rooms run across five categories: Double, Deluxe Double, Superior Twin and Superior Double at around 25 square metres with private city-view balconies, and a Junior Suite with a separate sitting area. Every rate includes breakfast for two, and rooms come with air conditioning, in-room tea and coffee, a flat-screen TV, an in-room safe and fridge, a hot and cold rain shower, bathrobes and slippers, free WiFi and daily housekeeping.
FOOD & FACILITIES
A cafe-style dining room decorated with Maldivian paintings and murals serves the breakfast, light bites and Lavazza coffee. Guests can also use the sister properties' facilities, including the Beachside Bistro at h78 Veli next door.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
The public beach is one street away, with the beach road's cafes and restaurants around it and the skatepark a short walk south.

Quiet, newer rooms near the beach at the h78 standard of service, at the calmer end of the brand's three Hulhumalé properties.
